Blissful Blogger...Aisle to Aloha

May 14, 2011

I know I have said this many times before, but I just have to say it againI love blogging!!!  I love every, single, little thing about it.

I love that my blog has filled me with a passion I never knew I had.

I love the fact that I have learned new graphic design skills, all thanks to researching and creating this blog.

I love that I get to sit down each day with nothing else but my computer and a cup of coffee and reflect on memories and write out my thoughts.  That is so peaceful and therapeutic to me!

I love hearing my friends and family say that they enjoy the reads or that something that I posted has inspired themThat warms my heart!

I love that I can share my special memories, fun finds, and love for my friends and family with all of you.

I love that my blog is serving as my journal {an electronic one, that is}…This is such a special time for me as I'm approaching the final months as a 29-year old. Bring on my thirties!!

And, last but definitely not least, I LOVE that my blog has led me to so many WONDERFUL new friends, fellow bloggers, and inspirational people, from all walks of life, who have become special to me and a new part of my life!!

When I began my journey as a blogger, I will admit that I was quite lost.  I knew I wanted it so badly, but there was just so much to learn.

I {thankfully} stumbled upon a fabulous blogger named Lindsay, who is the deliciously fun author of From the Aisle to Aloha.
Today, I introduce you to LindsayNot only has she become a fab friend of mine via blogging, Facebook, and twitter, but she is a daily inspiration to meThank you Lindsay!!!

I can't wait for you to meet her and check out her blog and Etsy StudioI guarantee she will bring a huge smile to your face and brighten your day almost immediately.

The night that I discovered Lindsay's blog, I was so frustrated with my blog setup and I just had to get away from it for a few minutesI checked out a few blogs for a little happy enlightenment, and there was Lindsay!  I read her whole, entire blog right then and thereEvery single word made me happy, and my confidence was restored.

I started communicating with Lindsay via e-mail and twitter, and her bubbly personality came through in every convo that we had.  She even took time out of her super hectic schedule to offer me some blogging tips and adviceI'm so thankful for her!

After falling in love {and becoming slightly obsessed} with her blog, I started visiting her Etsy shop almost daily.  Her paintings are so unique and they each have such vibrant pops of color that will complement any room in which they are hung.

I absolutely LOVE all of her paintings, and my new waves add the perfect touch to our Murrells Inlet home.

See how pretty they are??

{a little touch of love from Hawaii in our SC home}
Every time I walk by them, I think about Lindsay and how helpful and sweet she has been as I have embarked upon this new blogging chapter of my life.  I can't wait to add more paintings to my collection, and if you haven't discovered these Aisle to Aloha jewels quite yet, you need to check it out nowYou won't be disappointed!! :)

Sending love and hugs to Lindsay in Hawaii, and I wish you all happy shopping at Aisle to Aloha Studio!

xoxo,
Katherine
