Happy New Year, sweet friends!! How has your holiday season been? I hope it was everything and more than you had hoped it would be! :) Mine definitely was!
This Christmas and New Year was quite possibly the best yet. That's a pretty bold statement considering the fact that every Christmas and New Year with my family was always so perfect and special, but a new element was added this year…Our sweet and loving little Kate.
It's almost like I saw Christmas in this whole new light that I never even knew existed. Watching the holidays through my daughter's eyes was the most magical and heart-warming experience for me…The beautiful trees, the twinkling lights, the sparkly ornaments, the candy canes, the Christmas music, the candles, the bows, the wrapping paper, the stockings, the holiday books, Santa Claus…They all gave our precious angel so much joy, and our hearts were so full as we watched our baby experiencing so many firsts. There were so many smiles that covered our faces the past few weeks, and there were happy tears as well just knowing that we were witnessing her only first Christmas. What a special time, and let me tell you we soaked in every second of it.
